Join us for Storytime at the library. We will sing, rhyme, read, craft, and play together! Your child will have so much fun they might not even realize they are learning important skills for future reading! This program is for children and their caregivers.

Teen Volunteers

Do you need volunteer hours for school? Are you looking for a way to help out your community? Would you like to meet other teens in the areas? Students in grades 7-12 are invited to come to the library for an hour of volunteering fun! Potential projects may include: prepping craft kits (cutting, sorting, assembling, etc.), cleaning books and shelves, organizing materials, and completing other projects for the library. No registration is necessary and you are welcome to drop in for part of the time if you cant stay the full hour!

Speak Easy: English as a Second Language Conversation Group

Speak Easy: An ESL Conversation Club is designed to connect new members of Hancock County with community organizations. Each meeting will have a different theme and students will get the chance to meet representatives from social services agencies as well as practice English skills.
