Join us for Baby Storytime at the library. We will sing, rhyme, read, and have fun with scarves and bells! This program is suggested for children up to 36 months of age with a caregiver. Older siblings are welcome, too.

Drop in and play with a selection of the library's toys. Explore new games, toys, and activities that are educational and fun while meeting other families. This program is for children with their caregivers.

Daughter of Union

Home-schooled teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come hang out and be creative! Art activities will include: Painting, collaging, origami, Perler beads, and more!

This month's book is The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Copies are available at the Adult Reference Desk. Ebook and audiobook copies are available on Libby. Thrills & Chills is a Mystery, Thriller, and True Crime book club.

This month, we'll be talking about A Brilliant Night of Stars and Ice by Rebecca Connelly. Join us on April 20 at 10 AM at 50 North 339 East Melrose Ave.

Love to fish? Never been fishing but want to know how? Join us at Oakwoods Nature Preserve (1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay) to learn about local fish, make a fishing game, and if the weather permits, go fishing at the pier. This activity is inspired by our 2023 YouthREAD book, "Caterpillar Summer" by Gillian McDunn. Well meet at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center and go fishing at Shank Lake (if weather permits). This program is presented with the Hancock Parks District. Grades 2-6. Please register all children. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.
