Imagination Station Family Fun. July 26. 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Make plans on attending Imagination Station’s Extreme Science Demonstration @ Your Library! This program explores fundamental science concepts with an exciting, extreme twist! 

Water defies gravity, metal sparks and a liquid that is – 320° F displays incredible abilities. Guests will be in awe of the impressive science demonstrations presented under the Skylight in the Adult Services Department of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. No registration is required.

Read for LIFE - Tutor Training. August 11. 10:00-3:30 p.m.

Read for L.I.F.E. will be offering a tutor training class on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Lindamood Room.  Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering.  Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required.  Read for L.I.F.E. is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the GED including math, social studies, and science.  Registration is required by calling or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.
