Dig Into Reading SummerREAD Kickoff
DIG INTO READING! SummerREAD kick-off. Monday, June 3. Registration all day. Special events from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Children registering for SummerREAD will receive a free book. Popcorn will be served and patrons will have a chance to name a large dinosaur. Episodes of “Dinosaur” will be shown in the Lindamood Room.
A variety of activities will continue through the summer, including prehistoric crafts and dino-mite games, making fluffy flip flops and tie-die shirts. Additional activities are an excavation station, marshmallow engineering, sidewalk art and family movies. Summer program guides with a schedule of events are available under SEE FULL CALENDAR or KIDS / TEENS.

What flowers grew during Biblical times in Palestine? Would any of the flowers be able to grow in our area? Master Gardner Bob Campbell will share his findings with participants. He will discuss about Biblical flowers that can adapt to our climate and their needs.
