Q: How does access to The Great Courses work?

A: You will have access to one Great Courses series per month, and this will not count towards your credit usage. Once you press play on any title in a series, you will have access to that entire series for a 30-day window of time. You will not be able to start a new series until the next month.

Q:  I am all out of play credits. When will I have more?

A:  Play credits reset at midnight on the first day of each month.

Q: If I don’t use my play credits this month, will I have double the play credits next month?

A: No. Unfortunately, unused play credits do not roll over into the next month.

A: Blocked accounts will not be able to access Kanopy content until you are once again in active status. Accounts with $5 or more in fees are in blocked status.

Q: How long do I have to view a video once I use a play credit?

A: Each video is available for 48 or 72 hours, depending on the title, and can be viewed as many times as you want within that time period.

Q: Can I show Kanopy videos at a library program?

A: Most titles on Kanopy include Public Performance Rights (PPR) with no additional cost and can be shown in any program that doesn’t charge admission. Kanopy provides a PPR filter and PPR icon to make it easier to find qualifying titles.
