Glowing gas lamps and glistening glassware, the late 1880's must have been an amazing period in the history of Findlay. During that time five major glass companies produced large qualities of pressed pattern glass. Identifying Findlay pattern glass was a critical factor in making Findlay glass collectible. Using various resources, collectors diligently searched for pieces of Findlay glass at flea markets, antique shops and private dealers. This program will focus on the collecting of Findlay glass and highlight the specific heavy gothic and whitton pattern.
