Genealogy Lock-In

The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library welcomes members of the Hancock County OGS (Ohio Genealogical Society) to its annual members-only genealogy lock-in on Friday, May 30, from 5-9 p.m. at the library. Participants should arrive before 5 p.m. and park along Broadway or in the parking lot (the underground parking garage closes at 5 p.m.). Staff and volunteers will be available to assist with research, and participants may bring an optional brown bag supper. Registration is required, and participants may register at the library’s Reference Desk or by calling 419-422-1712.

Author, Joyce Thomas, of Miracle Complete

Joyce Thomas, author of Miracle Complete, will give a presentation on her experiences with bipolar disorder. Joyce wants to spread her message of hope that mental illness can be managed through medical attention and the support of family. Through her ordeal, Joyce kept her faith in God and wants to spread the word that mental illness is not something to be ashamed of. Join Joyce as she recounts her first hand experiences with mental illness.
