Come learn about some great ways to help your child enjoy reading and being read to. Licensed reading teachers will share strategies parents can use to help children improve reading skills. Parents will receive a book for your child, just for attending. There will also be door prizes and pizza and snacks to help you digest all of the valuable tips you will learn to help your child on his/her path to becoming a better reader.
Olympic Medalist Weldon Olson will share Olympic memories on Sunday, January 26 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. As a member of the U.S. Hockey team, Weldy received a silver medal in 1956 and a gold medal in 1960. Come and hear his memories and learn how the Olympics has changed over the years.

Come and watch "The Vow" starring Rachel Adams and Channing Tatum. The movie will be followed by a discussion of "The Vow: the true events that inspired the movie."
The Beat the Winter Blues series concludes with a visit from the Hancock Parks District. Discover all of the outdoor activities Hancock County has to offer.
